Community Guidelines

MediaHub is a creator-first discovery platform built for safe growth. These guidelines explain what’s allowed, what’s not, and how we enforce rules to keep the platform respectful, compliant, and trustworthy.

By using MediaHub, you agree to follow these Guidelines and our Terms. If there’s a conflict, our Terms control — and we may update these Guidelines as the platform evolves.

🚫 Zero-tolerance: NO nudity or explicit adult content
MediaHub is a non-nude, non-explicit platform. Nudity, pornography, and explicit sexual content are not permitted — including in profile images, headers, posts/notices, link thumbnails, and external links presented as the main purpose of the profile.
We reserve the right to remove content or profiles that violate these rules, including removing visibility from discovery surfaces (Home/Spotlight/Charts) or terminating accounts for serious or repeated violations.

1) What you can use MediaHub for

MediaHub is designed for creators, artists, brands, professionals, communities, and organizations to share links and get discovered through search, Spotlight, and Charts.

Allowed (examples)

  • Music releases, videos, booking links, merch, events, social profiles, business pages, portfolios.
  • Fitness, fashion, modeling (non-nude), art, podcasts, interviews, product launches, promotions.
  • Mature themes in text are okay if they remain non-explicit and comply with these guidelines.

Not allowed (examples)

  • Nudity, pornography, explicit sexual content, sex acts, explicit fetish content, or graphic sexual services.
  • Using MediaHub primarily as an “adult content link hub” (even if content is hosted elsewhere).
  • Sexual content involving minors (or any attempt to sexualize minors) — zero tolerance.
  • Illegal goods/services, scams, fraud, phishing, or impersonation.

2) Nudity & sexually explicit content

MediaHub must remain compliant and safe for broad distribution. That means no nude or explicit sexual content — and no profiles whose primary purpose is directing traffic to explicit adult content.

Strictly prohibited

  • Visible nipples, genitals, explicit “see-through” nudity, or sexually explicit poses.
  • Pornographic content or sexually explicit imagery/video of any kind.
  • Sex acts (real or implied), explicit fetish content, or explicit adult services.
  • Link thumbnails, banners, or profile media that contains nudity or explicit sexual content.
  • Profiles that market or promote explicit adult content as the main offering (e.g., explicit platforms, explicit content stores, explicit galleries).

Borderline content

If content is borderline, we will interpret it in the strictest compliance-safe way. When in doubt, keep it clean.

  • Swimwear is generally okay; explicit “lingerie-only adult marketing” may be restricted or removed.
  • Artistic nudity is still nudity — it is not permitted on MediaHub.

Tip: If you’re unsure, choose a safer profile image/header and avoid link thumbnails that could be interpreted as explicit.

3) Respect, harassment, and hate

You may not harass, threaten, or target others. MediaHub is built for discovery — not abuse.

  • No hate speech, slurs, or degrading content targeting protected or vulnerable groups.
  • No threats, encouragement of violence, or celebration of harm.
  • No bullying, stalking, extortion, blackmail, or coordinated harassment.
  • No doxxing or sharing private personal information (addresses, phone numbers, IDs, private chats).

4) Impersonation, scams, and fraud

Trust is everything on a discovery platform — so deception is not allowed.

  • No impersonating people, brands, or organizations.
  • No fake “verified” claims, fake endorsements, or misleading identity signals.
  • No phishing, suspicious redirects, malware, or attempts to collect passwords or sensitive data.
  • No scams: fake giveaways, fake investments/crypto schemes, advance-fee fraud, or fraudulent storefronts.

5) Illegal, dangerous, or regulated content

You may not use MediaHub to promote illegal activities or dangerous goods/services.

  • No illegal drugs, controlled substances, or instructions to buy/sell them.
  • No weapons sales, weapon-building instructions, or violent extremist content.
  • No human exploitation, trafficking, or any non-consensual sexual content.
  • No self-harm encouragement or instructions.
  • Gambling content may be restricted; deceptive “get rich quick” or unlicensed schemes are prohibited.

6) Spam, manipulation, and platform abuse

Don’t game discovery. We protect search, Spotlight, and Charts from manipulation.

  • No spam link dumping, irrelevant keyword stuffing, or misleading profile tags.
  • No fake traffic, bots, or artificial engagement manipulation.
  • No deceptive redirects (e.g., “safe” link that redirects to explicit or malicious content).
  • No mass-report abuse or attempts to silence competitors through false reports.

7) Intellectual property and copyrighted material

Only post content you own or have the right to use. This includes images, logos, brand assets, and text.

  • No copyrighted images, music, or brand assets without permission.
  • No counterfeit products or trademark impersonation.
  • We may remove content in response to valid IP complaints.

8) Reporting and moderation

If you see a profile or link that violates these rules, please report it. We review reports and may temporarily restrict a profile while we investigate.

  • Use in-platform report tools when available (e.g., a Report button on profiles).
  • For urgent issues or additional context, contact support at support@mediahubhq.com.

Note: Submitting false reports or abusing reporting systems may result in enforcement action on your account.

9) Enforcement and actions we may take

Enforcement depends on severity, intent, and history. We reserve the right to take action at any time to protect users and the platform.

  • Remove or edit content (including images, headers, link thumbnails, or text).
  • Disable specific links, features, or visibility in discovery surfaces.
  • Hide profiles from Home/Spotlight/Charts and other discovery modules.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.
  • Cooperate with lawful requests and report illegal activity where required.

Especially for nudity/explicit content: removal may occur immediately, with or without warning, depending on severity.

10) Appeals and questions

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, contact support@mediahubhq.com with your @handle and a short explanation. We may request additional details to verify your identity and review the decision.

Quick summary
MediaHub is a non-nude, non-explicit platform. Be respectful, be honest, and keep your profile clean and compliant. We reserve the right to remove content or profiles that violate these Guidelines or our Terms.
